In-year Admissions for pupils in Reception to Year 6
Hermitage Primary School is its own Admissions Authority, which means you can apply directly to us for places in Nursery and Years 1 to 6.
We work closely with the Hillingdon Admissions Team, who notify us of any applications where Hermitage has been listed as a preferred choice.

Nursery Admissions
Hermitage Primary School manages its own Nursery admissions. Children can join our Nursery starting in the term or half-term after their third birthday, subject to available places. Parents may register their child from birth.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted throughout the school year. Once an application is received, the school will notify parents of any available places at the earliest opportunity. Parents can indicate their preference for either a morning session (8.30 –11.30am) or an afternoon session (12.15 –3.15pm).
Waiting List
If a Nursery place is not immediately available, parents have the option to join our waiting list. The school will inform families as soon as a place becomes available.
Important Information
Please note that Nursery admissions are managed separately from Primary School admissions. Securing a place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in Reception. Parents must complete a separate application for Primary School.

Reception 2025
Even if your child is at Hermitage Nursery, you must apply for a place in Reception through Hillingdon Council. For a guide on how to apply, please click here

Reception - Children born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021
Infant and Junior Transfer - Children born between 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018.
