At Hermitage, we realise that parents and carers lead busy lives, and so we offer wrap around care from 7:45am until 6:00pm from Monday to Friday during school term times.   Sessions are run by Hermitage staff who are known to the children. 

In the first instance, please contact the school office so that your child can be set up on the Wrap Around Care booking and payment system.  You will also be asked to complete a registration form.

Before School Care runs from 7.45am until 8.35am every
Monday to Friday during the school term and should be booked 24 hours in advance on our School Money system.

Children are offered a breakfast, which consists of a choice of healthy cereals, toast and milk or fruit juice.

Children are then entertained with quiet games or can catch up with homework, do some reading or play with their friends until 8.35am. 

At 8.40am, children are walked to their classes and handed over to the class teacher. 

After School Club runs from 3.30pm until 6.00pm every Monday to Friday during the school term.

Children are offered a light tea and later entertained with small group games and activities or, if they prefer, they can relax and unwind after school.

Children are encouraged to play in mixed year groups, expanding their friendship base.

If you wish to pay using Childcare Vouchers, please notify the school office in advance. 

Security 

All children will be signed in and out on the daily register. 

Parents can collect children at any time during the session. 

Children may only be collected by the nominated person(s), otherwise, it is vital that you let the school office know in good time that a different person is to collect.
