At Hermitage, safeguarding is our highest priority, and we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment for all members of our community. If you have any concerns - whether you’re unsure or have specific information - please speak to a member of our safeguarding team immediately.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and together we can protect the wellbeing of every child.
Our Commitment
We work closely with a range of agencies to ensure children, staff and parents receive regular training and guidance on safeguarding practices. This helps our community understand the importance of safeguarding and how to recognise and respond to concerns effectively.
For more information or to report a concern, please contact our safeguarding team.
Safeguarding Intent:
Vanguard Learning Trust (VLT) is committed to safeguarding children and young people, and expects everyone who works for the Trust to share this commitment. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility and applies to all employed staff, as well as contracted and supply staff working at any of the Trust’s schools and/or central team. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play in identifying concerns, sharing information and taking prompt action.
At Hermitage, keeping our children safe is our top priority. Please click on the links below to find out more about how you can keep your children safe at all times.
