We believe it is essential that children are prepared for their future successes, and we want to give the children at Hermitage Primary School the best possible start to their early education. 

Cultural Capital

Culture Capital is understood to contribute to ‘getting on in life’ or ‘social status’, i.e. being able to perform well in school, knowing how to talk in different social groups or societies, accessing higher education and being successful in work or a career. At Hermitage, we have always believed in enriching our children's learning beyond our curriculum offer through events, speakers and themed weeks.

Trips, Speakers and Events 

We believe in enriching the children's educational experience through a wide variety of excursions, events and utilising virtual methods to access speakers.

We are able to provide many of these events free of charge and are lucky enough to be located near enough to Uxbridge and the tube line to make full use of our local facilities.

Extra Curricular Clubs 

We are always adding new clubs and activities to the offer at the school. These include sport and dance clubs, STEAM clubs and creative clubs.   Please see document below for our Spring Terms clubs.
